This is from a comment I made on my friends site-after reading another bloggers entry I felt I had to place this thought here as well (make sense??)
“I am a little behind in blog reading but I finally came around to support Obama-I was a little hesitant and voted for Clinton in the primaries BUT not so hesitant I was going to support McCain. I was either voting for Obama or no one. It took a long time but I finally got that “yes I can really support this candidate” feeling. I really hope that republican’s can come around and support him. I try to support no matter who wins-OK the last eight years-who could? I did try at first with Bush-but thank heavens his term is O-V-E-R! To be honest all the republican “scare” tactics were the start to push me in Obama’s favor. I thought-they really must see something great in Obama to go so far and so low. I agree with you not to be cliche either but I love the Yes We Can slogan-finally something to feel good about!”
Of coarse I guess I could have voted for the good ‘ol stand by Nader…gotta give kudos to the old man for trying for so long and so hard!
